I read this quote this morning:
The length of a film should be directly related to the endurance of the human bladder.
Alfred Hitchcock (1899 - 1980)
Can you hear me laughing out loud?
Now if only I had a quote from Peter Jackson.
And what about the play Nicholas Nickleby?
Lawrence of Arabia?
The wonderful thing about Videos and DVD's is that we can pause anything at any point. I adore Hitchcock films. I wonder though, was this something that cropped up in his later years?
