I have a friend who got through a few trying years by obsessing over Legolas. Not Orlando Bloom, who is cute enough. But Legolas the Elf. In fact our conversations were peppered with 'Not the Elf' and 'soooo Not the Elf'. Until her very special someone came back into her life. Then even the Elf was second best.
