Not the watch ! The band is made from a bit of silk leftover from the shoji screen. What did not show on the scan is the delicate flowers and leaves printed on the fabric. The shoji is window-sized and produces such a beautiful haze of color when the sun shines. At night it makes an inviting glow for outsiders to enjoy. My next window project will be inside shutter frames lined with tapestry. Assuming I can figure out how to warp the loom. And assuming lightening doesn't strike me after using 'warping' language. Everyone uses 'sewing' words, don't they?

How many ways can I avoid actual housework. Not enough. I wanted to reward myself for doing laundry, washing dishes, hemming DS's pants. So I made this.
