I had this chat with two folks yesterday who expressed interest in learning ASL (American Sign Language). I mentioned that there are DVD's available. But they were not really interested.
As the conversation continued they expressed interest in learning Spanish. So I told them about Coffee Break Spanish. Still not interested. I may not be the fastest learning but I did figure out they wanted to seem as if they were interested.
For anyone who doesn't care about seems and is really interested in learning another language, let me introduce you to several really good podcasts. Radio Lingua currently has Four thorough language podcasts and 6 other very basic languages with more to come. I highly recommend them. Any of them.
