Insurance Policies

Well! I just had a conversation with the Insurance Claims Agent. She was very nice, very accommodating. And is sending a check for a generous amount to replace our stove. Knowing that prices have jumped astronomically because of the oil farce, I was expecting to have a huge out-of-pocket expense. Instead the Insurance Company priced a mid-range stove and is giving us the full amount including tax minus our deductable. They are not deducting for depreciation either. I hardly know how to deal with such a pleasant experience. Except to say that Allstate has been great to us. We have their auto insurance too and have always been treated well.

So if you are looking for an insurance company, I can highly recommend them.
